Last night and this morning at breakfast the excitement of coming together for the fight against breast cancer is slowly being replaced with the daunting task of riding 220 miles in three days. Today will be the longest at 85 miles. Even former pro Frankie Andreu says he will need to pace himself. Later today, you’ll hear Andreu’s thoughts on lances return. Many riders admitted they didn’t train as much as they wanted. New Rochelle’s Jill Frey is one of those who has only ridden a few times in the past month, but feels that her experience and passion for the ride will get her through.
Clearly Jill has the support of the group.
Stay tuned as the Hershey’s Tour de Pink heads to New York City.
